Planned For Efficiency
Here’s What Happens When You Call Us
At ACR Environmental Consultants, we systematically handle every job from start to finish. We believe that following a plan keeps us on track to fulfilling our slogan: “Doing the Right Thing.” Our seasoned company guarantees a strategic approach so that your problems can be resolved in no time.
These are the steps that occur when you request a mold testing service:
Step 1: Set an Appointment at Your Convenience
You will need to schedule a time for a state-licensed mold inspector to visit your location. We offer a flexible schedule between Monday and Saturday. Call us at (512) 761-1981 or fill out our form to talk to our friendly expert.
Step 2: Visual Mold Inspection
Our licensed mold inspector will conduct a thorough multi-point inspection. First, they will check the property’s exterior to search for potential microbial growth, unusual humidity levels, and water intrusion. Next, the interior will be examined by looking for mold, observing the humidity, and collecting temperature readings of each room. We will also inspect your HVAC system. Based on the results, we will make appropriate recommendations for the sampling process.
Step 3: Collection of Mold Test Samples
The inspector will collect an interior air quality sample and compare it to an exterior air quality sample. MACTexas also gathers a swab sample of the HVAC system to provide additional insight into your indoor air quality. Further samples may be taken, depending on the discretion of our certified inspector or at your request.
Step 4: Lab Testing
Then, the samples are overnighted to a third-party certified microbiology laboratory under the Chain of Custody. Once the environmental samples are received and logged into the laboratory, the analysis will begin. The results of the test samples will usually be available between 3-7 business days, but you also have an option to expedite your results.
After receiving the results, you can contact our licensed remediation contractor to present a plan on how the mold will be remediated. Then, the contractor will perform necessary methods to remediate the mold before testing it again so you can get a certificate that declares you mold-free, with a validity of five years.
By outlining a procedure for mold remediation, we hope our process will be a lot clearer for our clients. We’ll go above and beyond to make sure that your concerns are addressed so that they won’t resurface anytime soon. Trust our pragmatic approach to solve any mold issues.
